Day 1 - Monday: Arrival
Upon arrival, you
are met, assisted and transferred to your hotel in
Jerusalem
for overnight.
Day 2 - Tuesday:
Jerusalem
/ Sightseeing of the
New City
Drive to
Mt.
Scopus
for a view of
Jerusalem
.
Continue to the
Garden
of
Gethsemane
and Church
of the Agony. Drive to
Mt.
Zion
for a visit to the
tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. Sightseeing in the
new city
including the
Israel
Museum
, the Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead
Sea scrolls, the new Supreme Court building,
Mt.
Herzl
and Yad Vashem (the
memorial to the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust). Then
visit the model of the Heordian city of
Jerusalem
dating back to the time of the
Second
Temple
.
Visit the synagogue with Marc Chagall stained glass windows at the Hadassah
medical center, then via Ein Karem (the birth place of John the Baptist). Return to hotel. Overnight
in
Jerusalem

Day 3 - Wednesday:

Walk through the Jaffa Gate to the
Old
City
: the renewed Jewish Quarter, the
Western Wall, the
Temple
area, the colorful bazars,
Via Dolorosa, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
Continue to
Bethlehem

situation) Church of the Nativity and return to
Jerusalem
for overnight. (B)
Day 4 - Thursday: Tiberias /
Galilee
Leave
Jerusalem
, and drive north via
Jericho
*(*subject to the security situation),
the oldest city in the world. Continue via the
Jordan
Valley
and the new settlements to Beit Shean.
Visit the excavations of this beautiful
Roman
City
. Proceed to Tiberias,
the old center of Jewish learning. Drive along the
shores of the Sea of Galilee to
Capernaum
to visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Continue to a Kibbutz hotel for
overnight. (B)
Day 5 - Friday: Upper Galilee / Golan
Heights /
Nazareth
Drive to the
Golan Heights
, visit the former Syrian fortifications, Birkat Ram,
and the Druze villages. Continue via Banias, source
of the Jordan River to Kiryat Shmona and the
Hula
Valley
onto Safed,
city of the Kabbalah, to visit the old synagogue and
artists’ colony. Proceed to
Nazareth
to visit the Christian holy sites. Return to the Kibbutz hotel for overnight.

Day 6 - Saturday: Acre /
Haifa
Leave the Kibbutz
hotel for
Acre
to visit the old, famous
Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to
Haifa
for a sightseeing tour of the city including: the Bahai Shrine,
Persian
Garden
and then on to
Mount Carmel
for a panoramic
view of the city. Proceed southwards to
Caesarea
to visit the Roman theater and the Crusader fortress. Drive via Natanya to Tel
Aviv. (B)
Day 7 - Sunday: Tel Aviv
A day at leisure
in Tel Aviv or take our one day optional tour to Massada and the
Dead Sea
Overnight in Tel
