DAY 1: Thursday- May 15^th

Meet at Toronto Pearson airport; board our El Al flight to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport. ISRAEL HERE WE COME!!!

DAY 2: Friday – May 16^th-Tel Aviv

On Arrival at 205pm in Ben Gurion Tel Aviv airport you will be met by our representative and tour guide who will assist you through customs and transfer to our air conditioned deluxe tour bus that will take you directly to our beautiful hotel in Tel Aviv for a Shabbat dinner and Overnight D

DAY 3: Shabbat- May 17^th –Free in Tel Aviv

You’re first Shabbat in Israel!! Today is your time to pray, relax, .and enjoy your day in Tel Aviv. B

Day 4: Sunday – May 18^th – Tel Aviv

We start our day of sightseeing in Tel Aviv stopping at Machon Ayalon to visit the pre-state underground ammunition factory then on to Independence Hall. Our sightseeing tour will continue with a tour of the city and then we visit the Palmach Museum for a multi media presentation depicting the story of the Jewish commando units. You will also have a chance to do a spot of shopping at the markets. After a hectic day you will have an evening at leisure. Overnight at Tel Aviv. B

Day 5: Monday – May 19^th – Enroute to Galilee

Our first adventure of the day is Caesarea see the newly excavated Hippodrome and the new Caesarea Multi media Experience. This fascinating cinematic exhibition will take you through the fascinating history of Israel under Roman occupation. Visit the Amphitheater, a spectacular relic of the past but a modern performing venue where concerts are still held. Drive to Haifa, Israel’s third largest city. View the beauties of the Baha’i Shrine and Persian Gardens from the “German colony”. Visit the Technion. This institute for higher technology studies is famous worldwide for its scientific achievements. The visitor’s center screens a film on the Technion’s history. Continuing to Safed the city of Kabala to visit the ancient synagogues and the artist colony, then on to Kibbutz Lavi, for a wonderful dinner and stay over night. BD

Day 6: Tuesday – May 20^th – Golan/Galilee

Today you will visit the Golan. Stop at Banias, and visit the beautiful Banias Spring and waterfall, one of the sources of the Jordan River. Continuing on to Har Ben Tal to experience a great view of the Golan and across the border of Syria. Out next stop is Katzrin, the capital city of the region. We visit the local winery, where some of the best Israeli wines are produce. On to Hemdat Yamim the home of Tavior, for a piano concert: Join the group for a wonderful dinner at your hotel. BD

Day 7: Wednesday – May 21^st – Enroute to Jerusalem and the Old City

Today we’ll drive to directly to Jerusalem on the way we will participate in a”Shehechiyanu”ceremony before entering the Old City our group will travel through sites to which very few have access! We will visit the Jewish Quarter, the Cardo and the Kotel(Judaism’s holiest site—the Western Wall), the Herodian Mansions, a completely excavated residential quarter more than 2000 years old and the Davidson exhibition to see a fantastic computer imaging of the temple. We’ll see the Hafirot Ha’Kotel(the new wall excavations), Southern Wall excavations the Rabbinical Tunnel under the Temple mount. See the stores under the Robinson Arch. Learn of the illegal excavations by those who are trying to destroy Jewish archeological evidence of our homeland. Ride the Time Elevator, a multi-media attraction which takes you on a fascinating, three dimensional, simulated ride through the last two millennia of Jerusalem’s history. See the Bazaars and lots more…..Overnight Mount Zion Hotel. B.

Day 8: Thursday – May 22^nd- Massada

An early departure to Massada we ascend by cable car to view the gorgeous view of the mountains of Moab and the Dead Sea from this fortress which staved off the arduous Roman advance and earned a position as one of one hundred “World Heritage Sites” by the United Nations. You will visit the famous palace, synagogue, bathhouse and more, built here by Herod the Great. Descend Massada to soak in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea. Cover our bodies with black mud; after these wonderful experiences enjoy lunch at the Hod Hotel proceed onto our Desert Experience – a day of exceptional excitement! We then make our way back to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight in our hotel. BLD

Day 9: Friday – May 23^rd – Jerusalem

We begin our day at the new Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial, for a lecture followed by a tour of its exhibits. Children’s Memorial and Dead Communities Valley. Carry on to Har Herzl the military cemetery to pay homage to Theodor Herzl, the New Herzl Museum and continue to the new defense wall surrounding the city and visit the neighborhoods to observe how they prepare for Shabbat. Before we enjoy out traditional Shabbat dinner we will go to the Wall to participate in the Friday evening prayers. Overnight in Jerusalem. BD

Day 10: Shabbat – May 24^th – Jerusalem

Today is a day at leisure for you to enjoy, relax or visit friends and family. You will join up with the group for a farewell dinner before being transferred back at 10pm to Ben Gurion Tel Aviv airport for your El Al flight home.

Day 11: Sunday – May 25^th – Toronto

Arrive home after your wonderful adventure to Israel.

Extensions: There is no additional airfare charge for extension of stay in Israel. For those who stay additional nights, special discounts are available. European stopovers in either direction will be subject to additional charge (for higher airfare, if applicable).

Payments: Partial payment can be made in Israeli Bonds! Full payment is required 30 days prior to departure. Tickets and insurance may be paid by credit card; the balance must be paid by cheque.

Registration:

A deposit of $300 Cdn per person is required to secure space on the tour. It becomes non-refundable three months prior to departure.

Cancellation Policy:

The deposit is refundable up to 3 months prior to departure. After payments are made, air tickets are subject to $250 penalty. Land services are subject to 50% cancellation fee up to 14 days prior to departure and 75%, 14 days or less, prior to departure.

Time Table:

1. Interview and Registration.

2. Finalize extensions of stay, additional tours and other individual arrangements. It is highly recommended to finalize these arrangements as soon as possible

3. Travel insurance must be issued 3 months prior to departure (Deposit becomes non refundable).

4. Airline tickets must be paid and issued 35 days prior to departure.

5. Final land tour payments must be made 30 days prior to departure.

6. An information meeting will be held 2-3 weeks prior to departure to give participants an opportunity to meet. Valuable information and documentation will be distributed. Out of town families will receive materials by courier.
