Day
1 - Thursday: Istanbul
Your representative awaits to greet you as you land in Istanbul. After
transferring to your hotel, the remainder of the day is Free.
Day
2 - Friday: Istanbul
Your day begins with a guided tour exploring the ancient city with
highlights to include the magnificent Topkapi Palace the main residence of
Ottoman sultans (excluding the harem).Visit the Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmet 1
built in 1616, famous for unequalled ceramic tiles. Then the Byzantine
Hippodrome which was used for chariot races. Visit the St. Sophia Museum and
view the Byzantine Mosaics. Visit the Grand Covered Bazaar with its 3,000
exotic shops. For a taste of Turkish night life, join our optional dinner and
enjoy an evening of Turkish belly dancing and folk dancing entertainment. (B)

3 - Saturday: Gaillipoli / Dardanelles/ Canakkale
Morning departure for Gallipoli and visit the Anzac Cove and Lone Pine
Cemetery before crossing the Dardanelles to Canakkale for dinner and overnight.

4 - Sunday: Troy / Pergamum / Kusadasi
Visit the ruins
of Troy where Greek Trojan heroes fought the Trojan war for the beautiful Helen
with a replica of the famous wooden horse. Visit ancient Pergamum famous for
work done by the great Roman physician, Galen. Sights include the Altar of
Zeus, and the Asklepieion, a famous Roman medical centre. Continue to Kusadasi
for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

5 - Monday: Ephwsus & St. Mary’s House / Kusadasi
This morning we head across the fertile Menderes Valley to glorious
Ephesus, capital of Roman Asia Minor, to see extensive ruins which include
2,000 year old marble streets, a huge theatre, the library of Celsius, a
gymnasium and the temple of Hadrian. Visit St. Mary’s stone cottage. In the
afternoon an optional tour of Sardis. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi. (B,D)

6 - Tuesday: Aphoridisias / Pamukkale
Drive through fertile valley’s to Aphrodisias city of Aphrodite, then
continue to Pamukkale (white lime cascades) to visit the ruins of the ancient
Roman Health spa of Hierapolis. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale. (B,D)

7 - Wednesday: Pamukkale / Antalya
Morning departure for Antalya for a noon arrival. Afternoon at leisure
with an optional tour of the Archeological Museum and Old Harbour. Dinner and
overnight in Antalya.

8 - Thursday: Perge / Aspendos
Half day tour of the ancient Pamphylian, Hellenistic and Roman cities:
the unspoiled ruins of Perge with its colonnade street, and Aspendos with its
huge theatre, the best preserved one in the Mediterranean area with a capacity
of 15,000 spectators. Afternoon free in Antalya. Dinner and overnight in
Antalya (B,D)

9 - Friday: Antalya - Departure
Morning transfer to Antalya Airport for your flight to Istanbul and connect to your international flights to Canada. |
