Day 1 - Wednesday:
Arrival
Our
representative awaits your arrival in Athens airport and will take you to your
hotel in Athens.
Day 2 - Thursday:
Athens
After breakfast
pick-up from the hotel at 9:00 a.m. and departure for a half day organized tour
of Athens. Passing in front of the Temple to Olympeious Zeus and Hadrian Arch,
we make a short stop for photos at the Panathenaic Stadium, the place where the
first Olympic game of the modern era in 1896 were held. We continue to see the
Greek House of Parliament in the Constitution Square and the famous Envones
wearing their traditional costume. After that we make a short stop at the Royal
Palace and we continue to see from outside the National Library, the Academy
and end our tour by visiting the Acropolis, the masterpiece of architecture.
Return to the hotel at approximately 1:30 p.m. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3 - Friday: Cruise
to Mykonos
After breakfast
at your hotel you will be escorted to Athens Port of Piraeus where you will
embark for the Cruise. For the next three days, laze in luxurious comfort, take
a swim in the pool, participate in a wide range of daily and nightly activities
and enjoy gourmet meals and entertainment by a myriad of performers. Today’s
port of call is Mykonos, a dazzling white beauty of a typical Cycladic island
with a sophisticated jet-set atmosphere. Stroll at leisure through the
white-washed, flower decked alleyways to the church of Paraportiani or along
the waterfront to the famous windmills. (B,D)
Day 4 - Saturday:
Rhodes
Morning arrival
to Rhodes, a beautiful Philistine and Crusader stronghold. Take a walk through
this magnificent island, enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere offered at one of
the elegant cafes on the yacht harbour, or take our optional excursion visiting
the Temple of Athena on the majestic, rocky Acropolis of Lindos, with the blue
Aegean beneath it and the sophisticated, whitewashed artists’ colony at its
feet. (B,L,D)
Day 5 - Sunday:
Kusadasi / Patmos
This morning your
cruise ship’s port of call is the Turkish town of Kusadasi. We recommend an
optional excursion to the ancient Greek city of Ephesus. Excavations still
continue today in this once great city, founded in the 10th century BC.
Remarkable public buildings here include the Baths of Scholastica, the Library
of Celsius and the Temple of Artemis, considered as one of the seventh wonders of
the world. In the afternoon you sail to the Island of Patmos for a visit to
this beautiful and rocky island, the source of much of the New Testament, where
the Monastery of St. John houses an original manuscript of the Gospel. (B,L,D)
Day 6 - Monday: Disembark
Your Aegean
cruise ends this morning when your ship arrives to the Port of Piraeus. Balance
of day at leisure in Athens. (B)
Day 7 - Tuesday:
Departure
After breakfast,
