Day 1 – Arrival

Arrival to the Land of the Pharaohs. Land in Cairo airport. Transfer to your hotel for overnight in Cairo.

 

Day 2 – Cairo (Pyramid Tour)

After breakfast, start your day to visit the Pyramids & Sphinx of Giza, which have stood for the last 5000 years. Complete your visit at Giza, continue to the ancient city of Memphis, the fi rst capital of United Upper and Lower Egypt, and then visit Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. _ en you will be transferred to Cairo Train Station to board the Sleeper train to Luxor .Diner & overnight on board (B, D)

 

Day 3 – Luxor

After breakfast, arrival to Luxor train station . Upon arrival transfer to your luxury cruise ship for a 5 days /4 nights cruise. Accommodation aboard your cruise ship will consist of outside suite cabin with private facilities. Visit the Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor; visit the West Bank including Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight in Luxor. (B, L, D)

 

Day 4 – Luxor • Edfu

Early morning sailing to Edfu via Esna. After breakfast, Day at leisure. Overnight in Edfu. (B, L, D)

 

Day 5 - Edfu • Kom Ombo • Aswan

Travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, the falcon-god, considered the bestpreserved ancient temple in Egypt and the second largest after the Temple of Karnak. Sail to Kom Ombo where you will visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. _ en sail to Aswan and overnight. (B, L, D)

 

Day 6 – Aswan

Visit the Aswan High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the Unfi nished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Sail on board a felucca, a typical Egyptian sailboat and view Kitchner’s Island Botanical garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight in Aswan. (B, L, D)

 

Day 7 – Aswan • Abu Simbel Tour • Cairo

(Abu Simbel Tour Optional)

After breakfast, disembarkation, transfer to Aswan airport for fl ight to Abu Simbel & visit the colossal Temple of Ramses II and the temple of his beloved Queen Nefertiti, both temples carved out of a hillside beside the Nile in the 13th century BC. Transfer back to the airport for your fl ight to Cairo, upon arrival you be escorted to your hotel. & overnight. (B)

 

Day 8 – Cairo (Cairo City Tour)

Start your day with a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum where you will fi nd artifacts of the Pharaonic era and the treasures of King Tutankhamen’s tomb. Continue your drive to the Citadel of Saladin and visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Enjoy a walking tour of the largest 13th century covered oriental market, Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Return to the hotel for overnight. (B)

 

Day 9 – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure fl ight. (B)
